*Is it Gluten-Free?
The answer is both yes and no.
DumplingD’s crystal dumpling wrappers are crafted using a blend of wheat starch, tapioca starch, and cornstarch. The mention of wheat starch might raise concerns about gluten. However, wheat starch is the isolated starch from wheat, with most of the gluten removed through a thorough rinsing process. The wheat starch we use contains less than 20 parts per million (ppm) of gluten, which meets the regulatory standard for being labeled gluten-free.
Our production kitchen does handle gluten-containing products, but we take stringent measures to ensure the safety of our gluten-free items. All work surfaces, equipment, and utensils are thoroughly cleaned before making our gluten-free crystal wrappers to minimize any risk of cross-contamination.This makes our product generally safe for those with gluten sensitivity, but it may not be suitable for individuals with severe allergies or Celiac disease. We always recommend consulting with a healthcare professional to determine what's best for you.
Ultimately, the decision to consume our product depends on your individual tolerance to trace amounts of gluten. When in doubt, consult your doctor.
